CENTRAL MARYLAND...NORTH CENTRAL LOUDOUN COUNTY IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA
AND NORTHEASTERN JEFFERSON COUNTIES IN THE PANHANDLE OF WEST
VIRGINIA...

At 339 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Boonsboro, or 9
miles northeast of Shepherdstown, moving southeast at 30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to
         fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage
         homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed
         trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured
         light objects may become projectiles.

Locations impacted include...
Frederick, Hagerstown, Shepherdstown, Municipal Stadium, Harry Grove
Stadium, Ballenger Creek, Robinwood, Brunswick, Walkersville,
Boonsboro, Braddock Heights, Mount Aetna, Mount Lena, San Mar, Clover
Hill, Discovery-Spring Garden, Point Of Rocks, Wolfsville, Saint
James, and Linganore-Bartonsville.

Looking at the radar in motion, I don't see how that storm is hitting Brunswick.

But there is another line forming in WV moving eastward.

Outflow boundary from storms in PA kicking off additional ones along it. Boundary hasn’t come thru my backyard yet so I’m really hoping a storm will follow haha

Wiff here as well. Just got the outflow boundary through here but am thinking that is all I am going to get.

Just turned on the sprinkler to water the grass seed as it is looking like there will be no rain for now.

lots of thunder and it’s been a whiteout of rain for 30 minutes now. but no wind and not a lot of lightning (that you can see).

Good lightning storm, for a change. 1-2 close strikes to my house. Most storms this year have been just rain. Have to love Jul-Aug.
