CAPE Posted yesterday at 06:40 PM Share Posted yesterday at 06:40 PM 68/46 Glorious. Only complaint is the wind, which is really not helping things given the lack of rainfall here. VWC at 4" is about a tenth here

The deeper soil moisture probes on the mesonet sites aren't inspiring much hope. Sykesville's 20" and 40" values are almost as bad as the eastern shore. Full sun, dry air, and maximum leaf out means thirsty vegetation and streams.
87storms
After careful deliberation, I’ve decided to issue a uniform distribution alert along with an incredible weather alert for the next several days. 1

Yep. Did a bit better than you last week with the drizzle here, but my veggie garden is already thirsty as heck after two sunny days

I remember my late spouse taking basic ingredients and turning them into, by my eye/palate, a work of art. Well done! As always …..
snowfan
I live in an area near little pax river with very sandy soil. It drains like a champ. Despite getting nearly 4" of rain, the areas out of the shade are already getting firm again.
