Flowers are already wilting here. You can't even tell it rains. Sprinkle fest didn't dint the drought here.

Same here. Soon as the sun lowers a bit, the sprinkler(and well pump) is gonna do some work.

The deeper soil moisture probes on the mesonet sites aren't inspiring much hope. Sykesville's 20" and 40" values are almost as bad as the eastern shore. Full sun, dry air, and maximum leaf out means thirsty vegetation and streams.

Yep. Did a bit better than you last week with the drizzle here, but my veggie garden is already thirsty as heck after two sunny days
