Brian D
Looks like the rivers along the shore are going to be roaring next week. Gooseberry Falls should be a cool site to visit.

cyclone77 Posted yesterday at 07:14 PM Share Posted yesterday at 07:14 PM Last coolish day before several warm and humid days coming in. Low temps will hold in the 60s for several nights. Awaiting a dying Iowa blob of anvil rains this afternoon.
Geoboy645 Posted yesterday at 09:51 PM Share Posted yesterday at 09:51 PM Pretty incredible stretch of temperatures coming up for Mid-April. We have had warmer, and similar length stretches of warmer temps. But having 70s and humid for at least 5 days straight is impressive, as usually it's dry when we get warm for that long this time of year, ala 2023. Going to be stacking up the rain totals as well, especially if areas have multiple rounds of T-storms. Could be a significant flooding issue in the UP and basins coming off of that area and the North Shore where there is still a significant snowpack. GRB has noted the possibility of the Menominee River reaching moderate or major flood stage later in the week. That plus the multiple severe days is going to make it a very busy week for the region. 3
cyclone77
Have a shot at our first 70 degree dew Tue or Wed. This would be less than a month after the blizzard on March 16th.

Was driving through Grand Rapids yesterday and noticed the Grand River was awfully high. Same with local rivers and streams around my neck of the woods in Battle Creek. Going to be a humid summer. Cary67
Grass is threatening to be mowed, streaks of warmer days, fewer days regressing back to the 30s and 40s. Tulips emerging..signs real spring is here and pseudo spring is coming to an end. About 4 weeks to enjoy upper 50s to mid 70s weather before the switch flips to summer late May.
weatherbo
39 degrees this morning, hoping for a high in the mid-50's. Days and nights should remain above freezing for the next week. NWS MQT mentioned most of the UP should be snow free by the middle of next week with the exception of the Keweenaw and the high terrain along Superior from Herman through here and down to Negaunee where 3 to 4 feet of snow still remains. Put the rain gauge out yesterday for the first time since October and recorded .5 inches last night. Snow depth here is just over 40" with drifts and piles still 5-6' in spots where the snow was piled all season. Went out to the back of the property yesterday to check my hunting shack and see how it fared the winter, and it's still standing.

weatherbo
The forecasted high for today when I went to bed last night was 59. Woke up it had been lowered to 57, then around noon 55, then lowered even further to 52. Temp has bounced between 43 and 44 all afternoon with heavy fog. So disappointing.
