Flagstaff has seen one of the more impressive monthly maximum high temperature beats for the CONUS. They exceeded the previous March record high by 11°.

If Newark had a similar March record high, then it would be 100°. I don’t think this extreme of a record would be possible here since we can’t rival the kind of heat generated with drought in the Desert SW.

My guess is that our max potential here in March would probably be around 93°-94° in some future March heatwave when the primary ridge is centered in the East instead of the Desert SW.

Denver has been in a relentless, unmitigated torch fest since November and it’s still going strong. Record shattering for 5 months in a row out there

Basically a 2011-12 style winter but centered out west

After an overperforming 69 Friday - 54 / 43 - looking like a nice sunny day low - mid - upper 50s and  60 in the warmer spots.  Warmer Snday ahead of storms 60s to low 70s in the warmest spots pending on sun then storms/ rain Sunday night into monday.  Coolest days look to be Mon and next Saturday other wise near to slightly above normal with the ridge building in the east towards the 31st and into early next month for next stronger warmth signal towards or into Easter weekend.
