They’re great.  A little vanilla outside of the details on the sleet/ freezing rain lines forecast wise imo but a great winter experience.  The big dawgs are way more dramatic on the lead up.  But SWFE are a great winter experience.  Generally come in like a wall.  Has staying power.  Bonus icey glaze occasionally which makes sunrise even more dramatic after the event.

Never saw a drop of rain or mix here. Just started as snow at 3:10 PM. 34F

It's been coming down pretty good for the last hour or so, after the column finally saturated. Temp is 30F

It’s the weirdest start I can remember to a storm. We get these burse of moderate heavy snow that lasts between 30 seconds and two minutes and then it stops and then another two minutes later we get another burst that’s happened like six or seven times in the last half an hour

Another 1.8 in the last 40 minutes! Up to 3.1" now on the board. Snow growth was perfect and it was piling up quickly. 

Rates and flake size have declined now. 

Get as much QPF up this way as possible please.

Light snow here...been cruddy growth since that 1 hour burst moved through. But no pellets yet. They seem to have trouble getting north of MA/RI border.
