No matter what the outcome I can't remember a storm lurking on these boards that had such a short anticipation time and no "oh here we go" bad runs/trends rollercoaster.  its just been.. out of no where Bomb and then a chorus of models crescendoing (is that a word?) every run . stress free

That's how these grocery stores must feel. People suddenly woke up to a blizzard warning this morning and pandemonium ensued, with little to no preparation for it.

people say you should not wait til the storm ends to clean....but you can't operate a snow blower in most towns before 8 am....

Some places have exceptions for clearing of snow. Besides, the plows crushing my neighbors mailbox for the 4th time this winter is definitely louder than my snowblower.

Still a pretty big spread less than 24 hours from game time! Crazy.

Ticked east with the precip totals again. EURO will likely trend west to come.close to matching.

GEFS actually trended west. The gfs suite including AI have stayed in about a 20 mile band all day. Let's not get carried away.

12 to 24.
The NAM and the RGEM, 2 short-range models, are the "outliers" at the moment.

Gfs is so deceiving. Look at the snow map. It's just if not MORE robust than previous runs. NYC is at 17 and 10 miles south is at 27. The northern and western extents of heavy snow are the same. That run really is just like before and in the NAM camp.
