I measured 13-15 inches here in western Nassau around Garden City. Not sure if it’s too low since it’s been so windy but it could be we didnt get the best banding over night. Had 5 inches at 830pm so find it hard to believe it only snowed 8-9 last 12 hours

The GFS was king here-had it for a week and never wavered outside of a blip run right before the storm.

GFS for the epic win and IMO the RGEM for the epic fail.  Even more so than the EURO IMO.  I am just more shocked with the RGEM for a complete failure  especially 36-24 to 12 hours prior to the event.  Just horrendous.

The RGEM nailed the cutoff up here tho! Almost to the mile & amount!

Just epic. And still coming down hard. This is one of the greatest of all time here that I can remember in my lifetime, was born 2 years after 78. I’ve got 5’ drifts along my stockade fence. A little concerned this is going to take some effort to clear even with the snowblower!

In a screw zone between two huge bands right now in Ridgewood. We’ve been 10-15 miles away from some major bands both to our east and west throughout the night

.

Probably around 15 or so in Montvale. Caught the band early this morning

Honestly kinda puts 96 in perspective (up here). The conditions we had from about 4 am thru 8 am today was roughly what we had for 12 hours straight in 96 and its why for my area 96 will always be king.

My buddy in Montague is telling me 4-5". This wasn't a surprise at all

Totally agree.  Was clear from radar last evening into the overnight that western and NW Sussex and western Warren and Hunterdon were fringing with this.  RGEM did good on that but so did other meso models.  Made several posts about this last night.

Buddy in Pittstown, western Hunterdon had 6” as of 7am.

The RGEM has at times been a bit too east with very deep coastals.  The UKMET used to have that bias but it seems gone the last several years.

It's double the height of the snowblower in spots. Waist deep around a lot of my house with drifts lol. Plus it's ripping hard >1/4 mi vis again right now. Incredible.
