I feel this is a very tough storm to model even only 100 hours out. Im not surprised that it waffles all over the place run after run get it into Nam range and I’ll start looking more.

Agreed. The location of the western ridge axis even on the worse runs is over Idaho as the storm approaches. That doesn’t scream suppression.

Ive noticed it a lot this winter especially but over the past several years. If 00Z doesnt slide back E, ill be a lot more convinced this is real. Want to see some consistency, lot of waffling right now...but we're still in that range.

Last 4 runs…those light blue vorticity blobs are where it’s been placing those convective lows. I’m not going to pretend to know if it’s legit or not, but H5 doesn’t look a lot different otherwise at this time frame.
