we've been watching the backedge of the backedge, if not the actual back edge approaching for a while, with a very keen eye....it's been lurking.  good storm though

We’ve had some decent back building in E NY, still getting good returns out here along RT2.  +SN still

But yeah, the heavy stuff won’t last too much longer.

16.5" snowfall as of 1130 in Methuen.  14 settled Storm depth

Similar here.  Approximately 14.5" - 15" settled to 13"

I won't be accurate on this one because I'm crashing soon and there will be blowing and drifting tonight.

Here come the easterly low level ocean bands. I can see 3-4 potential bands beginning to set up over the Bay, nosing into Cape Ann, KBOS, South Shore, and Plymouth. Expect echos to begin consolidating around these features

I don't expect super high ratios from these, but growth should be better given the lower level nature of the flow

Cj time...my snow should end

Still good echoes there probably from strong 850 inflow.

CF probably stalls near BOS for awhile. Hrrr tries to move it west near here tomorrow after it just barely passes east.

I just measured 14.5.  Tough with all the drifting so it might’ve somewhat low but there’s a big difference in impact from 6-10 and 12+. It’s accumulating with heavy snow now backing down to moderate with smallish flakes.  Blowing and drifting all over the place.  I noticed BOS had 10.5 about 4 hours ago so I expect the next measurement to be 15+.

I never did the 6 hour thing but my settled depth is around 13” new. Storm seems to be wrapping up but it was a very solid event and I just finished shoveling my car.

This isn’t the biggest storm I’ve ever lived through but it’s certainly one of the most brutal, considering the temps were in the single digits all day and only by midnight did it rise to 11°F.

Not historic here but certainly one hell of a storm!  Snowy, frigid day.  Big clean-up duties in the morning. I hardly did any today.

Actually into some pretty good lift right now, let's milk it for all it's got.  Maybe an hour of decent rates to go I'm thinking?
