This warm tongue would screw my totals. The damage would be done by then and Monday looks good and I don’t mean for going to school. Worry not young man, this is the signature storm of your life so far by the time all is said and done.

ROOSTA
QPF continues to increase. Break out the yardstick. Ah, to bust on the low side, that doesn't happen often.

Looking like we feast. Been here 30 years and ive seen it all. Sometimes you get 4-5 inches in weymouth and ive been left with rain in scituate/cohasset. Its all part of the game. I wouldnt fret. Things look exceptional and you are in a good spot.
Fozz
10 minutes ago, powderfreak said: Man, 1” QPF in 6-hours near BOS is an absolute thumping. ORH-BOS-TAN zone is a wild output. So 0.8" of QPF from 3pm to 9pm (here in Worcester) has to easily be close to a foot of snow in that timeframe alone. Maybe 14-16" in Boston? I still can't believe what I'm seeing.

Every model has it I'm trying to assume the Kuchera ratio is overdone (which those widespread 20"+ totals are based on), but not sure what is a realistic guess. Maybe 12-14:1? Pennfisherman
I grew up on Long Island and we rarely saw rates higher than 10:1. This was because we were surrounded by water and were always in the razors edge for mixing. I am in central mass now, and keep reading things about high ratios… 12:1 and 15:1. How common is that up here and how likely is that with this storm?

moneypitmike
3k ftw. Perhaps it's a little slower, allowing the high to retreat a bit to let a little more moisture work it's way north.
