RGEM is a crush job has the sleet line slower/ pulls south later while over Long Island 10-15 inches

Yep, if we can get it to fight back and forth for a while, even an hour that could mean 2 more inches. The radar looks amazing coming out of NJ. The ratios are coming down as the column warms but higher intensity will make up for it then some. That looks like 2”/hr stuff coming.

But parts of Baltimore county are at 10+ so there will always be winners and losers

We are focusing on north to south but west to east is very important. If u look at the models the warm tongue moves northeast not due north. Same down there.

If you look at kdix mix line you can see that battle happening down there, back and forth

Upton should have stuck to their guns instead of caving to the NAM.

it's a tough call; mt holly laid out their reasons why we could still hold onto snow longer but also saw the sleet. they didn't reduce things that much, really. i still have a tough time believing in the higher amounts here.
