The heavier initial thump comes as all snow for us down here. Lighter precip seems to be a little more mixy.

Thanks. Will probably fall short of that, but you might be pushing a top 5 all timer at this rate. I think the WAA stuff will come in like a wall. I wouldn’t be surprised to see some 2-3”/hr rates with this one down there.

I mentioned earlier I have it at the 75-90th percentile. Yesterday’s 12z UKMet was the top end. 25-30” everywhere was insanity.

I did all the maintenance due on my generator and loader/tractor today. Got gas for the camping stove and indoor propane heater. Still need tighten up all my solar panels and whatever else I have to worry about breaking lol. Hopefully I get sleet and not zr. This storm is getting serious for my area and south....

Surface to 850 gets bit above freezing briefly for SE MD and S DE. Don't want the low any further NW though- flow off the ocean is a NO. IDFC what happens down in central S VA lol.

I was late.  Was ordering dinner, lost track of time.  I sometime forget how early and fast the Euro gets done at 18z.  And I got in a trance with that one panel...couldn't believe that H5 map man.

ALl in all, I thinking my 6 to 10 is sitting good...maybe 12 now?

My gut is we mix eventually down here, but that initial hit is gonna fall hard and fast. Looking at some output from the Euro, it's got about 16" in 12 hours for us. I just don't want another bump north on the euro or it's 6 inches of sleet.

Mixing is why I think the jack ends up a little north of you. Maybe like Ediburgh to Stafford? Something like that.

Got my tractors fueled up and gonna get a good amount of wood inside. It’s deff one of the more serious storms we have seen in quite sometime. Luckily it should mostly remain snow.
