Bro. It's been a decade of rug pulls....

Many of us have become extremely attuned to the possibility of a rug like so many before, that if an ens run loses an inch from 10 days out, they go off the cliff like lemmings

I dont even look at surface maps anymore. There is no point. But even watching the changes at 500 from run to run makes me want to pull my hair out. The changes are never to our benefit. Never.

I actually hate being negative but this is the only place I can be negative with weather and it’s justified. How much snow have we received since 2016? Just think if me as an ensemble member. I’d like to be positive. But every time
I try …it all falls apart

Just have some mercy on me. I’d love to change my tune

Just going to accept we are the new south carolina for snow. It rarely happens. Dc metro simply not very good for snow. Global warming has made it worse. What used to be 5-6 inches of snow is now cold rain thanks to a few degrees difference. I have thrown in the towel.

Hey...we all have some level of angst with the way things have been the last decade. Trust me I get that. But brother...you gotta handle it better than this. I'm learning how to do the same (not all the way there yet, lol). If you address it from within you won't HAVE to vent as much. Because right now this is unhealthy even by this board's standards.

Yeah, but if we somehow go through the 25th-10th window without getting any measurable snow then you know the Feb long range thread will have 30 pages of wall to wall butthurt.

Kinda feel like there should be a little grace if that happens because it would be 100% understandable--but let's go with the positive for now that we will see something measurable
