And not a messy slop fest that we’ve come to expect. Snow from start to finish for a change.

Yup, although it is possible it starts as a rain/snow mix here. If that does occur, hopefully it will be brief.

I hear there is accumulating snow on the way. ;)

Yes! I have an apperntment with it tonight! Just a little more work to do preparing the landscape, getting the straggler leaves etc. up. (Did most of it late yesterday).

Tomorrow night should have a heart of winter feel to it, almost squeaky snow cold here.

The mesos are showing some "early" activity out ahead of the main area of precipitation, like around 7ish. Probably a mix to start if it comes in that early.

That's the best for stickage. Even at temps above 25 degrees mid afternoon I've noticed melting on roads and sidewalks unless the rates are good.

Give me less stickage then squinting at a light outside at 4am to see the best rates

My hopping around between Delco and Chesco over the last few years means this might be the first >3”, clean snowstorm I’ve seen since at least 2019. Bring itttttttttttt. :snowwindow:
Give me that high end in the Coatesville area please

Saw WWA was upped to 2-4in later this morning. Nice nice nice for Whitehall. Sweet spots might be Bucks to Philly for this one

Very surprised they haven’t given a WWA to Carbon/Monroe counties. Models have brought some of the heavy banding into the Poconos.

Some run that I saw yesterday showed what looked like this clipper zooming right off the coast like a Miller B and running on up toward New England.

I'm surprised Mount Holly didn't mention "localized 6 inches" for the WSW. I also thought they might follow what State College did with Lancaster and York counties and put Berks, Lehigh, Northampton under 2-5 inches. Would love to read their latest AFD to see if they're just playing it safe or if they don't trust some of the latest short term guidance from the HREF, HRRR, and RRFS. It's also kinda splitting hairs I know

Ahhh....makes more sense then.

Haven't had a clipper in a while but I don't remember heavy rates. Usually a light/mod 1-2/1-3"...

I remember a clipper that was probably 10 or so years ago (I think) that dumped 3 inches in about an hour.  And that was basically the snowfall total.

Feels good to be on the right side of the last minute trends in models. Also not having to worry about the rain/snow line inching closer. Should be a fun one.

I was thinking the same. The trend of late has been for the models to dry up as a storm approaches. Couldn’t ask for a better time to reverse that trend.

Oh, and Ralph…hope you’re planning to spend Christmas at Point Pleasant.
