No it's not.  It's approaching the PA/MD border per CC radar with mPing reports confirming that.  And I hate to say that.
It also went back and forth forth for a couple hours after first pingers

If either of you could provide a snow total at transition time I would greatly appreciate it! And if not, totally understand. :)

Yes, I absolutely plan to do exactly that, hopefully not for a couple more hours ha.  It's a total whiteout at the moment, with lowest visibility of the day.  Ripping fine flakes.

Snowing heavily here in NW Chester County looks like that sleet line is entering SW Chesco now will measure at top of the hour had 5.8" at 10am so no doubt around 7" so far. With a couple inches of sleet....high end ofn NWS forecast of 10" of snow/sleet may be just out of reach.image.thumb.png.e26422c5a7f8f94960cb0b78ab67d5bf.png

still rippin.

How do I post pics? Phone file too large

It's the worst thing about this site.  On the rare occasion I do so, I email the pic to myself as a smaller file and then copy and paste it in from there.  Seems to work but who knows ha.

I started hearing pingers just before 10. It was mainly pingers for a while and then mainly snow. A mix now of 50-50. I knew I was screwed yesterday when I saw those horrid Nam runs ala 12/20 storm.

Good luck to all now that mine has run out! Lol

Do have at least 7", so no complaints.

In Carlisle at 11:00am...it continues to snow moderately to occasionally heavily with mostly a fine flake consistency.  The temperature is 10.8 degrees and the dew point is 7.5 degrees.  During the past hour 0.7" of new snow has fallen bringing the storm total to 5.7".  The temperature also fluctuates between 10.4 and 10.8 degrees.  If NWS is right, some of the best rates should be coming in the next few hours.

This is the first time since Jan 6, 2024 that a single event has exceeded 5.0".
