Chicago916
At 15-1 to 20-1 ratios, I think Chicago gets 20in+ with that run. Certified big dog potential. Everyone's eyes peeled to the Euro soon.
Powerball
It would be wild if the UKMET ended up being correct. One of the biggest busts of the century.
andyhb
Yeah you're all going to want to watch out if that phasing trend continues in the west with this weekend system. Potential for a major short range bust in the positive direction and a major winter storm for the sub-forum. 1 1

Going to be whole lot of pingers on Fri-Sat with that pesky warm air aloft and how quickly it moves north. Won't be enjoying that.
OHweather
Pretty great trends at 500mb... The PV over the Canadian Maritimes is pulling out a bit quicker, the northern stream diving into the Rockies is definitely trending more amped (with more amped ridging over western Canada/Alaska), there's better phasing, and heights are rising more ahead of the storm.
largetornado
Looking like Ohio valley is going to get smashed. This trend bringing the ice further north could result in long term power outages due to prolonged and severe cold behind this
Radtechwxman
I'm intrigued and definitely keeping an eye out for this more phase trend to hold. Won't shock me if it trends back to less phased and way south though. Lots of moving pieces to watch. Would be a huge win for subforum. I would be happy just getting a few inches to cover ground before arctic tundra sets in.
