It’s unfortunate we melt it all later this week but I still think the 21-24 or so offer a chance or two.

When you loop the ensembles, the ridge axis never makes it here. That could be ripe for a good overrunning or SWFE

I’m talking about the low that’s over Newfoundland. Move it 250 miles northeast allows a storm to climb the coast doesn’t it?  And even stall with all that blocking.

I need my coffee before I post…lol

I originally read it as move it south 250 miles. :stein:

Chance of rain in the forecast for Thursday (although followed by snow on Friday). Still a good reminder to enjoy what we get when we get it.

Beutius to the maximus! Thanks for the pictures. I've been lucky in my area of SNE vs most. Your pics make me miss my snowmobiling days

Some warmth aloft

Not really.  If aloft is 925 maybe zr but if it’s 850 it’s likely sleet.  Kind of reminds me of the gtg at Clarkes Boston a week before Christmas in 2017.  Guidance universally had a huge torch starting in 5 days.  Scooter and Will pulled up the 84 hour NAM which indicated the CAD signals. Got cut off at the pass with some ice and snow followed by deep cold for a few weeks.
