Superstorm
0.50" in the bucket in Lancaster. Not too bad for being skunked most of the night. Let's see if we can add on this weekend.

All I know is when she was over at our place this past weekend she told my wife and I she was going to Marysville on Wednesday and Thursday this week. I yelled "Blizz!" in response. 1

CarlislePaWx
5 hours ago, Yardstickgozinya said: Hallelujah. Hi guys...finally have cracked the drought here that has been here since late July. I only recorded 0.85" for the entire month of August, and that was repeated again in September with just 1.05" for the month. It looks like I'm located inside the yellow stripe that follows I-81. The rain began here around 6:00pm yesterday evening and fell heavily in multiple intervals throughout the night into this morning. I recorded 0.94" up until midnight. That continued with another 1.63" between midnight and 7:00am, for a storm total of 2.57" in only 12 to 13 hours. I'm packing up to head down to Jensen Beach in Florida this Friday and will be down there for the next 6 weeks, returning the weekend before Thanksgiving. I'll be remotely watching my home during my absence and will post any significant weather if/when it happens. ---Stephen 2

Voyager
I know it's out of forum, but the place holds dear to my heart. While a lot of talk is being done about the upcoming nor easter, the desert southwest may see some epic rainfall from two tropical Pacific systems. It'll be interesting to see how THAT plays out...

ChescoWx
Some unseasonably chilly air taking hold over the area this afternoon with dew points below freezing at 1pm. Actual air temperatures this afternoon are likely to remain in the 50's in the higher spots in the area. There is a frost advisory in effect for overnight tonight and I suspect that some of our valley locations in Chester and Berks Counties may actually see some near freezing temperatures which could effectively end the growing season in those spots. The higher ridge areas will stay well above freezing by morning. Attention will then turn to a potential nor’easter moving up the coast that could have some major impact to the area by the end of the weekend and start of next week. Oh and of course Go Phillies tonight!!

I'm usually a couple of degrees higher than a lot in here, I am hoping to break 40 but have a feeling that my low will be 40.1.
