I’ll take the under. We’ve been getting porked the past six weeks.

Greenfield got lucky with a very isolated downpour two weeks ago that dropped over a half inch but it’s dry, the rivers are very low.

Looks like last falls cold fronts . All of them failed east and south of the Mtns

A lot of older trees have shriveling leaves. I’ve never seen that before here. Maples, birches, forsythia, ash, chestnuts…

I think their gauge is screwed. They had more than 0.08” in August. They had some missing precip days.

I had about 3.8" rain for July/Aug which is dry for this part of New England.  I know some surrounding Franklin Co. towns are lower than that. 

Coming down Rt 2 tonight I could see premature leaf fade and droop, especially in that Fitchburg to Hubbardston corridor.  There was also a few red lit swamp maples.
