If you want a cool breeze just open and close your freezer door quickly for 5 straight minutes. If you want a hot breeze just stick your head in the oven for a few minutes. 1

dendrite
Kinda funny seeing the upslope rain streamers on radar up north. It’s been awhile. 64.7/56 here with BKN skies and occasional sprinkles.

It's the hottest part of summer climo wise next 3-4 weeks, we are nowhere close to done - it's not the start of a step down, it's normal to take a few days off from the brutal heat here and there. 1

CoastalWx
Next time we get a cutter on January 18 I’m going to note that it’s the summer ridge telling winter to pack its bags. Time to go! 2

It's insane. I mean we're supposed to get cold fronts that move through and bring in these type of airmasses. This is still summer weather for us. We aren't supposed to be 90/75 for weeks and months on end...this isn't the tropics lol. 85/59 is just as much summer weather here as is 92/70. 1

Its almost like this summer the “team sport” of weather has become so divided that no one can appreciate the flip from dews to none to dews and such. It’s chillier up here. We just hit our low of 63.2° at 9am…so the CAA is legit. It’s a late Aug/early Sep vibe right now with the wind and fast moving Cu. 1

I was actually just looking off to the north and east and noticed how blue the sky is...haven't seen it this crisp in a while. Noticed the moon overhead too

Multiple showers here but not enough to make puddles. Severe-warned TS arrived - and died - at 4 PM, distant rumble, couple of 20-mph gusts, 0.01". Act 2 at 10:30 was a bit better with 0.09", nearly all in a pair of 30-second downpours. Not much to show for the 20°+ drop in TD. Since June 1 we've had 3.28" RA. Average is 7.12". Would be nice to catch siggy RA on Sunday before the next coolish dry days.

Damage In Tolland
You figure realistically there’s about 4-6 weeks left with dews of 70 or higher all combined . That’s a lot of dews to go
