Check out Plattsburgh (PBG) across the Lake from BTV…  first 100F reading in 50 years.

However, the most
impressive thing so far is that Plattsburgh reached 100 degrees, the
first time in exactly 50 years.

They must be downsloping and mixing out off the east slope of the Adirondacks.

They were 91/75… then something happened and they shot up to 100/65.  Lost the dews but gained the temperature.

Heat index remained about the same in the 102-104F range.

My truck's thermo is so inaccurate, It runs 4-5°F to warm, I guess if you go with its bias you can guess close to actual during travel.

Mine has a 2F bias. Factor that in and it's pretty much spot on.

Check out that temp jump/dew drop when the wind flipped W over 20mph.

Yeah super cool.  Impressive but awesome mesoscale stuff that makes thermodynamic sense.  Just mixed it right out coming down the Adk east slope into the Champlain Valley.

Good indication of what will happen tomorrow.

When you're just sitting and stationary not doing anything and being blasted by cooler air...eventually it becomes too much. I love that feeling when going outside from the heat but to be sitting in it for several-plus hours...no

How many posts did you make today running around outside in dripping sweat?

Correct...but I'm not being blasted by cold while doing it...that was my point. The AC air feels great when you go into it but if you're in a room for several hours being blasted by AC...you're going to get cool or chilly at some point and its only going to make going outside that much worse.

Amen to all..you rarely see this kind of enthusiasm in the buttcrack of winter, at least along the coastal plain. I’m sitting on the back deck, with a nice glass of lemonade soaking in every minute of this. This is the type of weather that leads to great legends and stories to tell for eons to come!
