Not quite as rapid as 1 mile to my east in the UES where once the front passed an hour or so ago they pretty quickly dropped to the low 70s. Crazy variation! Lots of wind gusts 40 to 50mph. The strong wind from the north made it look like a tropical storm out there with the heavy rain blowing sideways. A couple nice lightning strikes too. I have the same weather station I had back then and the temperature I recorded yesterday was slightly hotter than the peak heat in that historic month.
