TugHillMatt
The band arrived here about 5 minutes ago. Nothing heavy, but a light to moderate snowfall of pea-sized snowflakes.

sferic
A few hundred yards off of 31 so basically ON 31, Two miles east of 81 though, just mood flakes now

Flake size is good here. There’s a “notch” in the band that shows pass over me so I see a break coming. But the band seem to be well oriented west of there so I should get back into it. rochesterdave
Irondequoit is just frosted. Our snowpack is great. 13” on my permanent yard stick. 4” in last 24. 2.5” in last several. Band has been hugging the south shore. I love this weather. Truly alpine
Syrmax
Almost time for the 12Z Global runs of disappointment! Snow was pretty good for a bit, lightening up now. We'll see if this band can stay on life support for a while longer...

wolfie09
Cold has been more impressive than the snowfall here.. Average low so far of 2.7°..Feb 2015 had an average low of 1°, probably won't get that low but we do have several more chances at below zero this week..

At this rate the MA and NE will win snowfall awards over us I'm sitting somewhere between 15-20" at best on the season...I haven't added up all the tenths yet. Albany Airport is currently getting beat by Jackson, KY, Charlestown, WV, and tied with DC. It's been brutal overall, but the cloudy and cold weather has let us maintain our snowpack at least. 1

Syrmax
11 minutes ago, BuffaloWeather said: GFS with a 3 footer for Boston Classic setup for them, slp over the BM or a smidge outside it. I have friends in SE CT so a chase visit is tempting as that area looks to be 16-18" on that GFS map. But, local knowledge, SECT near the coast is a notorious screw hole for max snows. Could see them getting a foot but not chase worthy. Maybe.
