People in the military are FAR from “free”… they have an entire separate military police force to track you down if you try to leave.  And you listen to those above you and do not question it.  I can’t think of a worse example to make for freedoms than the military.  They fight for freedom but they are far from free.

What would you estimate the percentage of current military men and women that agree with being forced to inject this into their bodies? I am quite sure we have a plethora of veterans on this board and at least some of them have the stomach to read this thread. I’d be curious what their thoughts are

The demographics of the “vaccine hesitant” are slowly, kicking and screaming, being brought out into the light despite our dishonest media. There will be a new category of “honorable discharge” for this in our newly woke military, you heard it here first

Agreed. As the military is generally “anti leftist” .. this has got to sending shockwaves. I am quite sure the American way will ultimately win this and they won’t be forced .. but man.. even the staunchest leftists here cannot agree our military men and women should be forced to do this. That is just downright disgusting.

imagine the privilege that allows you to throw away a career over something as stupid as a vaccine.

Missed all the lovely posts today.

Me and 2 other electrical sub contractors waited outside the local Capital Tristate (electrical supply) this morning at 630 am for it to open like we do many days and when the doors swung open the worker quickly said ( U NEED MASKS) to enter . I quickly said I guess Home Depot and Lowes  will get the business from me then ...call me when corporate changes back . The other 2 contractors weren't as civil lol. They cursed and said we aren't wearing no more effin masks . They also left Like I did . Americans are done  with this shit .I spend $35,000 to 45 K  there a year.  Enough small businesses like me push back on this Draconian BS it'll start to change their tune.

Is there a compelling reason not to get vaccinated if you’ve had covid?

My wife and I both had covid in Feb. We then got vaccinated in April. After talking to our doctors, we were told we absolutely should get the vaccine, so we did.

Im just curious if there is any actual reason not to get it other than the belief natural immunity should be sufficient.

well, most (not all, I admit) stats and research doesn't show benefit through at least 6 mos and possibly longer.  And AFAIK the one paper that I have seen that looked at vaxx outcomes showed a 7x rate of worse reactions for those that have had covid compared to those that haven't.  All the paper links I've posted.  That's enough for me for now

Basically you're an idiot

Possibly.  But it's pretty clear you're motivated by politics and/or don't spend time reading the actual science so, I'm not going to try to defend myself to you.  It'll be in one ear out the other.

You aren't a doctor, you have no medical background, you are reading reports and attempting to 'treat' yourself. Not a good idea

To be fair, we both had very strong reactions to both moderna shots. I took this as a positive though, since our body was responding to the shot as someone who already had covid.
