This cold is just plain rude today!

First, totally agree, @Mrs.J -- I'm not necessarily ready to shift into 5th gear (e.g., high 80s and humidity) at this point, but good Lord, not THIS wx.

Second, big ups to you for using the Chummy GIF from "Call The Midwife." That show is almost 10 years old now (hard to believe!), but it is one of the finest period pieces....some of the finest TV, period...I've ever seen. And Chummy is my favorite character of the whole series.  :D

This will be my fourth year chasing, and I’m more excited than ever to hit the road and document interesting wx. In the past, I was only sharing raw footage, but with time and experience, I want to provide more polished stuff moving forward.

Recently, I’ve been testing and shaking the dust off my cameras and equipment. For this Earth Day, I figured I’d take a trip down memory lane.

Thanks.  It was an awesome day.  I've done Old Rag many times and it never gets old or boring, though I like to get out early before the crowds.  And no, I don't think that's snow.  It was still earlier in the day before the cold air really arrived.  There was some haze or smoke in the area that made for some great photos.

I'm just guessing but I'll bet it's the the same hike you've done because it's so popular.  There are a few sections that you have to wriggle your way through including this one.  I'm not sure about this, but I think that rock that's pictured fell (or got pushed) and got wedged during my lifetime. I need to go back and look at my old prints from when I was a teenager!

Those steps are beautiful. The whole passage is art actually.

Ravens traded OB JR to the Chiefs for their first round pick and some other pick swapping and what not...Its an ok trade I guess but the rich keep getting richer in KC. Would have liked to received an NFL starter back but hopefully DeCosta can work some magic with 2 first rounders and multiple other picks now

Yeah we will see. Ravens usually know what they are doing. They could have forced Brown into playing this coming season- not like he would hold out as it is the final year of his rookie deal and he would become a FA. He would have everything to play for. But then he would just walk and the Ravens get one compensatory pick. This is probably a good trade. In addition to the the first round pick, they get a 3rd(swapped their second) and a 4th, as well as a fifth next year. Pretty good haul as long as they make the  additional picks next week count. Need immediate contributors.

Well after another rough morning my Dr put in for me to get a CT scan. Just got confirmed a 3mm stone in my bladder that I am going to have to pass. On meds to help with the movement. Looks like my weekend is going to be not fun.

Oh man. I have been there several times.

3 mm is passable for sure. Alpha blockers sometimes can get them out. I have a 10mm stone still in my right kidney. It's shaped like a dumbbell and will never pass on its own so when it breaks loose I will need medical intervention to break it up.

I had the sonic blast treatment last time to break up the stone on the left side. Relatively simple non-invasive procedure. So don't fear if it doesn't pass.

Hopefully you pass it with minimal issues. Kidney stones suck.

If this is your first stone, see if anything in your diet changed over the last couple years? Taking vitamin D supplements? How many IUs each day? I have done some research on this and am convinced high doses of vitamin D supplements cause kidney stones. There have been studies on this, but they were kind of inconclusive. Just curious.
