That’s where we’ll see the best chance for some spot 4-6” amounts imho if they happen. There is also an outside chance that Cape Ann and Cape Cod get some arctic fluff late in the game from that ULL diving in...that wouldn’t be until Thursday night though if it happens. Is this going to be one of those 4-6 events where Union and Stafford lolli to 8 or 9?

All depends if an IVT sets up for a while. GFS says it does but other guidance a little more mixed on the idea.

The 4 Seasons Posted January 25 Decided to go with 2-4" across the state with the lowest amounts in the far SW corner and highlighted the possibility for up to 5" in E/NE CT. Think the BOX and OKX are a bit low i.e. 1-2" and 2-3" for much of the area. Some sleet and freezing rain is possible for a time as precip lightens after the inital burst. Might update tomorrow morning and bump up if models trend more bullish. 3

78Blizzard Posted January 25 I wonder how much the tv mets use the Euro these days. That model has become more robust with each run since 0z Sunday, yet these mets don't seem to give it much weight.

The fact that he didn't include Tolland must mean he holds your measurements in high esteem.
