May be the same plume of rain giving me the huge deluge here in the Catskills. Rain should be shutting off by sunset--if not sooner--but what of those new convective elements in the Delmarva?

Some really strong gusts within the past 2 hours here, highest one I recorded was 51 mph. Picked up about .68" of rain so far

People are leaving their cars on the Verrazano and running off or driving the wrong way. It’s so windy the bridge is jumping that much

1.04 inches of rain here. Davis weather station in Gilgo Beach and Long Beach (both south shore) reporting peak gusts of 61 and 59mph.

once the rain ends winds have a tougher time mixing down plus the LLJ is moving east now.

Pretty much a non event so far out here in Rockland. Just some gusts to 25-30 besides the rain. We’ll see if the storms make it up here.

Good show here-had their been leaves on the trees we'd have a fair amount of issues-also the 11/16 storm took down some of the weak/dead wood.

NORTHWESTERN CUMBERLAND AND SOUTH CENTRAL SALEM COUNTIES...

At 359 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Newport Meadows, or 10 miles west of Bridgeton,
moving northeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Alloway, Shiloh and Newport Meadows.
