Don’t really understand the point of the Special Weather statement just issued, confirming the incoming snow. Seems redundant due to the WSW....

Here's what it says -

...Heavy snow will impact the area over the next several hours...

As of 5:00PM, moderate to heavy snow was overspreading much of
the region. Some areas were continuing to experience rain, but a
transition to all snow is expected soon where it has not already
occurred. Snowfall rates will increase quickly early this evening,
with one to locally two inches of snow per hour possible for
several hours. Very hazardous travel conditions are anticipated,
with roads likely to be snow covered quickly. Use extreme caution
if traveling this evening and tonight. A gradual improvement in
conditions is expected after midnight, with snow also potentially
changing to rain near and southeast of Interstate 95.

Mod snow. Only sticking to grass. Coating that keeps staying a coating due to melting.

Roads just started sticking here at my parents place in Levittown

Been snowing like mad here at bear creek.  Conditions are fantastic.  Hopefully the ride back isn’t too dicey later.  Back to the slopes!

Might go in the am since I can get discounted tix.

Good luck!  I've been huffing and puffing for the last 30 minutes, light headed and everything!  That damn rain line is still 10 miles to my north.

Mod/heavy snow in Allentown. Haven't measured but looks like an inch, maybe a little more?

Back edge is in Columbus, OH...this could last awhile.
