  1. Walt GM. What would you think the final verdict is for the Allentown, pa, Lehigh Valley area. Seems we are stuck in no mans land

  3. I'm with you on that. Why not having a Eastern Pa forum/NJ Forum, Eastern Pa being from Scranton to Phila, and NJ from the pine barrens north. to where Walt Drag resides up around Highpoint and that area, That way we stay out of NYC's banter, and can find some good meteo discussion.
  4. No merge, but I would like to see other excellent meteoroligists from different locales chime in and give their 2 cents. Since what happens here will eventually affect their area in some way.
  5. I totally agree with this. For Petes sake it's only Dec. 5th. Just glad to see the overpreforming dusting on the bushes and roofs the other morning. Geez, let's let things take shape !
  6. Had some snow flurries for about an hour between about 11AM - 12
  7. The golf course out back is still completely covered. However I've never made a measure. North facing yards have probably half a foot yet. The piles in the mall parking lots like the one 2 miles from here are at least 20 feet tall and 35 feet long. It's a Kamu dream!
  8. Walt - thought you would like to know. We just had half hour of easily moderate snow just 4 miles west of Allentown, Pa. that whitened everything up with a good dusting. Sides of roads were getting white. 32 degrees. Over now but still lots of dark clouds!

  10. Walt - this month reminds me of growing up in the mid 50's just South of Elmira NY. where it would snow a little every day and never melt. Those were the good days!

  12. 4 inches on the nose at 1 PM. Snow continues at varying intensity.
  13. Went out to give the snow blower a little exercise. 4 inches on the nose at 1 PM. Plows are out. Currently light snow.
  14. Heavy snow. Plows will be out shortly. 1.8 inch in the last hour and ten minutes.
  15. Salt trucks did their thing about 1/2 hour ago, but the roads have turned white in the last ten minutes. Heavy snow 29.5 Temp.
  16. Snow started here at 9:45 AM. It's blowing sideways and has that look that it's about to dump.

  20. Snowing moderately since 7:30AM Temp 29.5. 4 miles west of Allentown, Pa Roads are getting covered. Have to have 15-17 inches still on the ground even after days of melt and compaction. Coming down real steady. Got to love snow on snow!
  21. Macungie is approx. 5 or 6 miles Southwest of Allentown, Pa. It's a small town, but it's actually where almost all Mack trucks are built.
  22. Heavy snow. Large flakes. Looking at radar it won't last much longer. 1/2 inch in 20 minutes, Temp down to 32. 4 mile west of Allentown, Pa. Roads are covered.
  23. Large lazy flakes floating down and whitening roads and bare driveways. Temp 30. 4 miles west of Allentown, Pa.
  24. 26.5 inches on the ground. Still snowing lightly. Temp 30.5. 4 mile west of Allentown, Pa.
