Hope it wrong but I guess spring was coming regardless just didn't think it would come in like a lion.  Time to bury myself in the basement until November.

Yes, looking forward to a long spring and then a summer that doesn't go above 80!

Maine might be for you.  We’ll be topping 80 in a month.  If I liked warm weather every day would be magical living here April to October.

Give it a rest. Other than conversational flakes for people like you, winter is over.

So don't post and don't come into this thread since winter is over. Go post in the severe thread.

Tried to ignore your comments the last few weeks but this is over the top. What the he!! is your problem? The solution is simple, if this thread and the people in it offend you then just don't come into it.

He enjoys misery and misery loves company. Same song and dance the past two winters.

I am okay with warm not hot.  But would love to spend the summer in Maine.

i think bobs last comment before he left the board was that this march reminded him of March 2015 or 2017...one of those good cold snowy marches.

Wanna know why Bob and some others keep leaving the forum? Because of precisely the kind of thing you're doing right now. We get it...winter overall didn't pan out. I hear you...but don't go railing on other posters and repeating it over and over again. Take some time to consider how your posts may affect others (I know I certainly have this winter).

I thought day 6 Ukmet on Meteocentre looked half decent at h5 . Here's day 7 . It looks like it might close off at 500 . As long as models or ensembles keep hinting or  spitting out similar looks I'll keep tracking this time frame.

UK - hr 168

That’s more than ok. As long as the h5 is “close” it continues to be worth keeping an eye on. Obviously probabilities favor the progressive solution but it’s not dead and buried yet.  On life support though. Lol

Another issue were fighting even if the amplified h5 comes true is the weird convective disjointed nature of spring systems vs a more classic winter synoptic setup.

Going this summer.  Cant wait.  1 glorious July week at Rangley Lake.  Will be visiting Mt Washington on the way there too.  Relief from the summer swelter.

Nobody offends me, I’m not a snowflake. I tell it like it is. There people in here that overexaggerate everything and losetoa6 is one of them.

You just don't know how to stop spewing your mindless drivel. Please stop posting in here. Not one person wants to hear your nonsense. Losetoa6 is a much better and more valuable poster than you are. Please don't come in this thread anymore. You are like a petulant child.

Overnight GFS/GEFS is pretty much a non-starter at this point for our storm chances at day 6/7. Though not ideal the Euro/EPS, ICON op and the CMC/EPS still leaves the door open at the possibility.

Was that a positive or negative statement?

What do you think

good point.  but sometimes I think I know things and then realize I know very little about anything. My teenage kids have brought this to light so I figured I better check.

Bit of a late response here I know...but yeah, why does anyone care if some are discussing any possibilities in the medium range (in the medium/long range thread, no less...the horror!).  I've been following this lightly for the past few days and have very little to no expectations that much of anything will come of it.  But it's still interesting to see what's happening or *if* anything will.  If we get lucky with a bombed out system that gives us a late-season snow then great.  If not, it's no real "loss" at this point in the season.
