Looks awesome out there with the ice and snowpack. Sledding was fun with a minor accident lol. This storm was a win here. I certainly did not expect temps in the 20s after mid morning. Was worried the 3” would wash away. Nice winter scene out there. Although this storm was not as snowy as it looked a few days ago, it managed to do a bit better than I expected. My only two storms sort of exceeded my thoughts in this meh winter. Irony. Odd... you’re in Weymouth right? I barely have an inch of snow left, inch and a half tops and had nothing but sleet to rain to sleet since I was up at 7:30. Was pouring all morning, my blue spruces are feeling the weight
BrianW
Ton of people without power tonight.... Neighbor is a lineman for UI in the New Haven area and was called in and they told him to expect to work for 3 days.. klw
Best measurement for depth was about 24 inches but I was not sure if I was hitting bottom or just an impenetrable layer. 58+ inches on the year has me about 8 inches ahead of last year. powderfreak
I will say, the EURO was dead on nuts up here for days. Like 3 straight days of 1.0-1.2" QPF and low and behold I think it nailed it. Probably 1" or a shade more for 14-15" of snow.

Looks like the BTV NWS office reported the same at their last measurement. With 16" at the upper mountain stake, it was a pretty uniform snowfall regardless of elevation or topography. It has some density to it, but is also light, dry arctic storm snow. A good synoptic snow water content but yet arctic temperatures...I bet it's 1" of water here on 14-15:1 ratios, which is just about what was expected.
