You saw it already? I'm seeing it Saturday early afternoon

Opening night now means 7:00PM. Got my tickets ASAP. If I’m not there opening night for Infinity War then I’m probably dead, lol.

It’s a great movie. I didn’t let my expectations get too high and I’m happy to say it more then met them. Definitely in my top 5 marvel movies, but that list gets harder and harder to make.

1 - Winter Soldier
2 - GotG #1
3 - Black Panther
4 - Iron Man
5 - Ragnarok

Very hard choices though.

That map is about right for Burke. Looks like sh*t, is like sh*t.

Lol. When I first saw this post, I thought that you were talking about Justin. I was thinking, "Damn. School days are one thing, but for a nice guy like Justin who is really only guilty of loving snow, this is pretty harsh."

I should have known better. Sorry, bro. ;)

Winter soldier wasn't that good but overall decent taste

I found it to be the perfectly crafted marvel movie, and well done in general.

Heroes are very relatable. Falcon was introduced well. It was generally a realistic movie, which I appreciate. The storyline was relevant to present-day issues. It was a great sequel, that not only advanced the universe but really felt like Captain America 2. The fight scenes were gritty and well shot. It being in the DC area was a nice touch too. And it wasn’t overly quippy. Marvel can go overboard.

And it kickstarted Agents of Shield, which everyone should really give a second chance if they don’t watch it.

Jandurin would love to know your Top 5. Certainly hard to decide nowadays. Marvel fans are spoiled

The 3k NAM keeps 850 temps below freezing for the whole event. It also seems to be trying to hone in on where the best fronto forcing/banding may set up- it likes the I-95 vicinity. Rates are really going to be the key as others have mentioned.

Still liking my Valley Forge Casino trip. Think that region through central/northern NJ will be the jackpot regions. You should really make a trip up. :)

Yeah looks like Mt Holly has hoisted watches already up that way. They have some concerns abut the lighter qpf on the GFS, but seem to giving the Euro and other guidance more weight.

I am currently at the Inner Harbor in Baltimore. Not sure where I will head from here yet.

If you decide to venture up into the area give me a holler, maybe meet up for dinner and/or gambling. And to watch the snow of course. :)

There are still a couple off BCS's in my fridge.

If you decide to head north, I'd recommend stopping in Independent Brewing in Bel Air.  They have a lot going for them but two things stand out.  First, they have a great selection of quality brews, and two, they also have a necessary criteria that very few other breweries in the area have; they open at 11AM.

Sure

I hadn't really thought about it but I'll give it a go.  Caveat - haven't seen Black Panther or Ragnarok yet - don't really go to theaters. Though, if the word is good on Infinity War I'll definitely go to that.

Also - I'm much more into new characters than I am into sequels.

GotG

Iron Man

Dr Strange

Ant Man

Avengers

Honorable mentions - Captain America, the first.  Deadpool (yes I know it doesn't belong but didn't Disney buy the property?)

Dishonorable mention - Thor, the first.  Gosh that was bad.

Going skiing up at Liberty tomorrow, thinking of staying the night somewhere up in N MD/S PA (between Gettysburg and Frederick). What do yall think the best location would be for a decent little snowstorm? Gotta get out of Stafford for this one and see some actual snow.....

I would probably focus on elevation with this storm. Maybe somewhere in the Catoctins?

Lol.  I have had a pretty nasty cold this week and finally caved and took today off, but I just texted a buddy and told him that I may have to go get lunch and medicated and Dr. Max's on Broadway.

Try a rockin rye. Make sure they heat it up though. Always seemed to help me especially with a head cold.

There was conversation while I was gone about bourbon.

Can't recall who mentioned it, but Eagle Rare is top notch. Woodford will always be my go-to but Eagle Rare is my second favorite. Knob Creek is another one I routinely get.

I received a bottle of Redemption Rye Whiskey for Christmas from my boss/GIS coworkers and its quite good. I'm not one to drink whiskey/bourbon straight up, but this one I do. Its so smooth and has a sweeter taste then Woodford. The hint of vanilla goes a long way. And quite affordable, only $25 or so for a big bottle.
