harrisale
Barely a leaf out here, getting to be much later than usual now. Trees only really began flowering the last week or so. The April cold shot really sent the trees back into hibernation after it looked like we might get an early start to spring.
wisconsinwx
Also, Geos' climo temperature wise more closely resembles the Milwaukee burbs compared to most of the other Chicago burbs.

RogueWaves
Already beating yesterday by 11 deg's at noon One thing that's been great so far is the low wind speeds that many nice days have featured. "Feels like" temp can be 5 deg's warmer sans the typical spring windy-ness

Geos
Alek has done better with warmth from the SE winds. SE winds have a much bigger impact on temps here. Once you get down near Lake Forest where the coastline direction changes, the SE winds don't cut down temps as much. Was sunny, but now clouded over. Dandelions are sure going gangbusters this spring.
cyclone77
69 here today. Nicest day in quite awhile. Leaves are about 3/4 grown on the trees here. Looking more and more like summer instead of spring by the day.
Geos
68° today here. Low of 37° early in the day. If it weren't for the clouds probably could have gotten to 70.

mississaugasnow
Slightly off topic but a Canadian city in northern Alberta is currently being evacuated due to forest fires. Fort McMurray is a city of just over 60,000. So far 30,000 are under a mandatory evacuation. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton/fort-mcmurray-fire-social-media-reflects-fear-worry-as-the-flames-enter-city-1.3564982

I was mistaken earlier, the cities population is 80,000. All 80,000 are being evacuated now. The TV crews have been told to leave the city as well. cyclone77
Had a house shaking little storm about 30 minutes ago, with some small hail. Nice. Little hail core about to miss a little to the southwest of us in a bit. Getting some pretty close CGs here in the last few mins. Would make for some great lightning photog opportunity if it weren't for the heavy rain falling.
cyclone77
Wow, Clinton gusted to 63mph as that hail core passed by to their southwest. We didn't see much wind here at all. Picked up 0.24" of rain so far, with most of that in the last 10mins.

weatherbo
34, wind swept light snow falling this morning. Forecast for Friday now has a high of 83 and a nice chance of storms Friday night! It's been so long since I've even heard thunder. I expect the green up to go boom the next couple days! EDIT: short video... nothing really heavy but still a blustery May morning. osubrett2
This pattern here further east has been awful. Sunday was nice with sun and 75F, but Monday and Tuesday were miserable with highs of 60F both days and no sun. Not to mention the end of last week was the same. So 1 good day out of the last 6. And today and tomorrow are more of the same. 60 and showery.
