shaggy
Yeah, we did pretty good with the rain, but without the flooding problems those to the E&W are and will be having. My main concern now is if the winds/gusts show up as predicted, the potential of power outages or trees down in the yard. Duke is reporting 20,000+ out this morning, almost all West of Raleigh. Wind hasn't been an issue for us so far but a few leaning trees lost their battle with gravity and have been reported down. Highway 43 south of Greenville reportedly was blocked yesterday by a tree falling.

sparklecity
1.50" since midnight. Radar looks sort of meh for mby right now so I'm getting ready to head to Clemson. Lot's of rain holes abound. Heavy rain only coming in spurts and it's just mostly moderate rain so far. This looks like one of those famous upstate underperformers. Won't be surprised to see the heaviest rain rotate right past mby. Historic.....That's a pretty pathetic daily record of 0.77". ... Record daily rainfall broken at Greenville-Spartanburg SC...At 715 am... the rainfall since midnight was 0.87 inches breaking therecord rainfall for October 3rd. The previous record was 0.77 inchesset in 1961. Rainfall will continue through the rest of the day.
calculus1
The back edge of the firehouse just passed me by. I have accumulated 2.08 inches of rainfall since midnight. Today marks the tenth consecutive day of measurable rainfall IMBY. Over those ten days I have now accumulated 9.22 inches of drought-busting rainfall. If we consider this new event to start yesterday, I have only managed to garner 2.61 inches of rainfall from the ULL/Joaquin interaction. Nowhere near historic, but I do envision having various showers around through Monday. This is definitely a 180-degree pattern change.
