It's interesting that the last 3rd coldest month during the winter at NYC was Dec 89. That month was quickly followed by the 2nd warmest January and 6th warmest February. Today was also the 113th consecutive day on which the temperature reached 70° or higher in New York City. The record is 117 days (5/28 through 9/21 in 1994 and 5/29 through 9/22 in 1995).
