JoshWeather
roads seemed fine in Stallings, just south of Charlotte. Just wet at the moment. Really starting to cover the grassy areas and cars now though. Looks like another good band will be swinging through here in the next 15-20 minutes. Could see getting 2 inches out of this before all is said and done. That means there will be snow already on the ground when the heavy stuff comes Wednesday night. Should that not help those of us worrying about temps?

strongwxnc
Temp has dropped a degree here in the last 30 minutes.... I'm wondering if roads are going to start icing over in the upstate if temps keep plummetting. The rates have not been the heavy enough to affect roads in my area. Temp is 28 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

RevDodd
Got snow in FAY, unfortunately on top of a bit of ZR. Roads are pretty slick, with folks skidding all over the place.

jrips27
NW Atlanta is treacherous. I just witnessed a 2 car crash on the road in front of my house. Very reminiscent of Snow jam last year out there. 28.3 and light snow.
drfranklin
Greenville County Schools (SC) are closed today (this is a large county for non-locals that extends into the Blue Ridge mountains - elevations in far northern Greenville County exceed 3,000 feet)

EmersonGA
I guess the old Dallas rule is still good sometimes. Dallas gets sleet so I get sleet. Got about 3/4" of mostly sleet with a little snow and freezing rain.
