Here are some maps, please feel free to post some more detailed ones and I will be glad to include them in the OP. This outbreak looks to be on par with the one in January. It's pretty much set in stone we are going to get a huge cold shot. Imo it's a matter of how cold and how anomalous not if it gets cold this weekend. Shows a high of 29 Sunday afternoon. 34 degrees below normal. 33 for KSAV, and 35 for KJAX. Even Daytona Beach barely getting out of 30s Sunday. It will put the brakes on the too early blooming, and prevent them from being nailed by a more average cold snap in early March. I am in the camp that sees this outbreak rivaling the January one which for my area was pretty stout. This one could be a touch more severe.
