Gfs is on its own right now......high res and ggem look totally different in regards to the 21st storm, GGEM has a coastal and the high res gfs scoots a weak low off the SC coast

Euro ensemble mean also has a weak coastal.

The GFS is an outlier right now but this storm is several days away so expect more solutions.

agreed, it was in response to the rainstorm after rainstorm comment, which could be totally right but it lacks support right now

edit: pretty good support from gefs

Any solution could be right at this point. Everyone should just be patient. The pattern will eventually get better and we will most likely cash in.

I thought the euro op looked great. I'd gladly take a southern slider on the 21st to set up the 24th time frame. You don't want that first storm too strong and drag the baroclinic zone offshore. Just let it move to the 50-50 spot.

Ens looked GREAT going into the Xmas -NYE time frame. Patience fellas.

6z GFS has an interesting system during the Day 7 into Day 8 time period... primary low goes to the TN/KY VA/WV border area and then transfers (down to OBX area) to a coastal storm that goes up the Eastern Seaboard to around ACY and then makes a right turn out to sea

Also, still has Dec 24th system, but that low is running up the coast just on land
