Yeah the gfs really amps up totals along the coast and potentially right over or just east of the city. With such a strong tropical fetch along with the relatively slow storm motion someone could really rake in the totals.

Not sure how much role the cane plays if any but it would only enhance tropical moisture.

Wow a low of 69 at LGA that has to be some kind of record. In fact, now that I checked almost everyone stayed around 70 for a low. That's insane.

Here are the record high min.

That product grossly overestimates the marine influence all the time. Does the same thing with high temps in the warm season.

Tom , Are those not the soundings from JFK at this time shown on that  Euro ?  Is Maue`s map is wrong ? or the Euro ?
