sferic
NYCDOE will make their decision at 4AM when somebody sticks their head out the window to see if it is still snowing. There seems to be a lot of moisture down to our SW, can it be conceivably be snowing at 4AM still? Are we past the height of the storm, or the mid point? Can NYC/Western LI add several more inches? Any chane still of thunder on Long Island?

Wxnyc
Perfectly stated by Metsfan, some folks just need to Read more and post less I guess a met fan is used to waiting and waiting and waiting to get things going maybe this year maybe this storm ....... Just kidding, it's called kvetching sometimes it works , let's see what happens.
winterwarlock
From what I hear, the heaviest part of the storm isn't suppose to happen until after 6. no...heaviest bands already happened for most of NJ...there will be heavy bands for sure and more accumulations to come but most south of NYC have already seen at least half of their accumulations

SleetStormNJ
We have quite a few hours of heavy snow left especially once that band continues to move and the pivot action takes place even later. The next 3-4 hours are going to be quite exciting around our area.
Superstorm93
Storms starting to crap out here in South East PA, but the metro still has a long ways to go as that band retrogrades and really gives a second blast of snow. SnoSki14
Man that stuff to our west is really setting up nicely, I'm at 5.5" and could easily double that if we get in on that action coming east, nearly as cold as the early January storm with 14F. It hasn't let up... Intensity might have spiked a tad if anything. Would be awesome to catch some thundersnow out of this, but I'll try not to be too greedy.
