Verbatim it has a little QPF, but it's more ctrl and NE PA to ern NY FTW. The low develops on top of those cities so you know you aren't getting much if at all when that happens. eduggs Posted January 11, 2014 Share Posted January 11, 2014 The 12z Euro was better aloft than at the surface. The GFS has some support from its ensembles. One member was pretty intense at 12z. The rest were similar to the OP or misses. I could see this evoling into something more significant in the last 72hours (because the trof axis is favorable and it would mostly take a stronger s/w with more vorticity)... but more likely I see it as a relatively minor event.
