You weren't just a disaster when you first joined. You have been a disaster ever since. In fact, you're still a disaster -- one of the biggest disasters in the AmWx community -- one of the biggest disasters ever, actually.

PS: You know I'm not serious.

Lol you like cold rain.

The Tennessee Valley forum is more active than the SE.

That's cause nobody around here is going to get any super cold or winter weather for the next 6 weeks.

The forecast for Raleigh is rain today and tonight, with a high near 50. We should be at or slightly below average until next weekend.

It's amazing how dead it is in this forum when no winter precipitation is on the horizon. The big rain event for today hasn't even been mentioned yet on here.

High is 78 today from TWC. T*R**!

That's because nonfreezing rain is considered evil by the masses (no, not everyone) after 11/30 even though vast majority of SE winter precip. outside of mountains falls that way.

Why wouldn't they be? The areas in that forum have a much better chance at a low tracking over NC and bringing snow to their area around Christmas than anyone in the SE does.

Just wanted to take a second to thank everyone on the SE board for their expertise and friendship throughout the years.  There wouldn't be a TN Valley forum w/out you.  You know, at my church my Sunday school class has helped form several classes through the years.  We always hate to see people leave but take a little pride in the fact that we have equipped people to have vision and confidence enough to try something new.  Ultimately, they are still part of our church family and we have grown as a church because of it.  I would like to think this is a similar situation.  We are all still a part of the weather community.  And in a sense, we are just right down the hall.  So, again thank you for letting us call the SE board home for many years.   Hopefully, we will all be able to collaborate on an upcoming storm.

It's 37 here.  CAD.  :pimp:

Enjoy your torch down there in Waycross.

Congratulations, Jordan!

People here are all over the place with cold if there's no wintry precip. Many claim that cold w/o wintry precip sucks. Others (like you maybe) like it cold, period. Here in Sav., it is 72 with sig. rain/tstorms approaching and humid..much more like spring. It isn't bothering me. I like fun of the normal ups and downs in winter. Also, I have a cold. I'd rather not have to use the heat that much while sick since not healthy to be too dry.

Yeah there is a CAD. Max high was 40. But if the hp center would have been stronger probably a decent ice.

Just typical wintertime weather here in NC. This year has been alot more normal than the last two. But meh its only mid Dec... atleast till mid/late March before we all in the SE can stick a fork in it.

Also... Congrats WxJordan on your achievement and first major step towards your endeavor in life.

Never got above 42 here at the house. Down at RDU they managed to get to 47 late this morning (not sure how). It will be interesting to see if we end up above or below for the month. Looks like we are close to normal now.

CLT is now down to 47.9 for the month which is 3.7 degrees above average. That looks better than it did a week ago for sure. HKY is at 45.8 for the month, thus far, which is 2.8 degrees above normal. Still have some work to do to get back to normal after the warm anomalies earlier this month.
