There's not a single cell within an hour of DFW. Might there be a threat? Yes. But not in the short-term; DFW's not even in a tornado watch right now.

yes, you're right.  but western tarrant co. isn't that far from the action.  the local news stations cut in a little while ago to cover the other cells but emphasized that there is currently no watch for fort worth and dallas.  i wouldn't be surprised to see one in a bit.

It seriously looks like there are 5 or 6 different satellite couplets around Tishomingo - MidSouth Storm Chasers and Weather Weenies are under a ton of precip as this storm charges at them.

Is anyone else seeing the 5 or 6 different couplets like I am? All within 5-10 miles of one another.

That corridor has some terrible radar coverage. No idea what radar site to use. It's on the fringe of every local radar....

Thankfully missed the tornado in Moore.  I don't think I could have handled that.  We were about 30 miles to the south when it all occurred.  We were targeting the cell near Duncan.  Never would have imagined that what happened was going to happen.

Was listening to Gary England on the radio as they cut into the broadcast.  Listening to him and Val Caster and David Payne describing what the tornado was doing in real time was very sobering and honestly something I don't need to go through again.

Ended up seeing a pretty fantastic wall cloud on the storm done here, but that was it.  It never got it's act completely together.

I hope everyone on here is safe (not sure if anyone is from the Moore area).
