powderfreak Posted February 14, 2013 Share Posted February 14, 2013 When? Ehhh its only one run, but the ECM did have an upslope signal for a bit on Sunday, especially afternoon into night. The synoptic snows look like if they happened it would be Saturday/Saturday night with upslope NW flow possible more on Sunday/Sunday night. It was only one model run though... just a nice synoptic set-up for orographic snows with these late bloomers and close off in the Maritimes. Even if its too late for synoptic snows, usually some moisture and energy will rotate down out of the northeast and combine with NW flow to produce some snow.
