THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD INITIATE ON THE NWRN EDGE OF THE STRONGER INSTABILITY AS SFC TEMPS WARM WITH CONVECTION MOVING SEWD ACROSS THE REGION DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON. FORECAST SOUNDINGS AT 21Z FRIDAY IN ERN PA AND MD SHOW MLCAPE OF 2000 TO 2500 J/KG WITH 0-6 KM SHEAR AROUND 25 KT AND STEEP LOW-LEVEL LAPSE RATES. Had the whole family sitting in the yard watching the past 20 minutes. Lots of CG bolts. Amazing skies, with the bonus of being able to see the back side of the cell to the south. I think tomorrow morning will be about the 10th in the last two weeks I've dumped the Cocorahs gauge. You got hot early this year and have been consistently warmer than here most of the warm days.
