When in OT there rose such a clatter, I sprang from the tub to see what was the matter, Away to the Southeast forum I flew like a flash. Wonder whether I'd be perma banned for kicking WeatherNC's azz. It makes me sick my stomach that we have no snow, Did I mention how much this muther f*ckn' winter blows. When, through all the torches what did I see, But reveren Kev, with 8 weenies from SNE. With a little balding driver, his skin aging so quick, I knew in a moment, his weight loss may mean he's sick. More rapid than his hair line recession the weenies came, And he melted down, and shouted, and called them by name. Now Coastal! now, ORH! Messenger and CT-Rain! On, Hubbdave! On, Fella! on Logan11 and his thick grey mame! To the top of the torch! That's all this winter knows that is all! PV dash away! Dash away! For the love of god AO please fall! As dry leaves, outward does the cold fly, When they meet with an obstacle, still no snow from the sky. So up to Christmas as this winter blew, With a sleigh full of cutters, a giant FU too. And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof, SSW touters, but when asked for proof they went poof. As I drew in my head this winter was turning around, Down came the PNA, mod issued warnings abound. He was covered all in fur, from his head to his foot, And his dreams filled with snow, totaling over one foot. Lucky for me we still have no snowpack, Because if we did, then I'd be shaving Hubbdave's back. His eyes-how they twinkled! his dimples how merrry! Suslak's cheeks are like roses, but when will the wx pop his snow cherry! His droll ittle mouth was drawn up like a bow, We're all hurting, we're the f*** is our snow. I didn't think a season could be worse, than the one when all snow went underneath, But this friggen season has been one giant kick in the teeth. Just when we've thought that a threat was near, Once again, we take it in the rear! No one to turn to, but reveren Kev himself, Or maybe even winterweather warrior, that tiny little elf. At times we've been hopeful, but now all seems to be lost, No one can help us, we're lucky to see frost. We have hope for January, and February and March, But the first half has taken out all of our starch. As a weather enthusiast, nothing to do but pick your nose, Because onward once again, comes that infernal PAC firehose. All we can do is remember 2001-02 and whistle, But rather than relive that season, I'd just assume be struck by a missle. At least I'm drunk, but the winter still has me filled with fright, Happy Christmas to all, and to all good fookn night! :LMAO At least this ice warrior elf brought a few weenie snowflakes on Christmas Day morning. I might as well move back to philly....4th winter here, never had bare ground at the end of Dec....no prospects for snow. every week I think we are nearing rock bottom and it just gets worse. when will this god awful pattern change??!!!!!!??? i hate hate hate severe cold with no snow on the ground. time to start planning a trip to a place with snow. maybe stowe even though i don't ski. This winter has gotten to me guys. I'm sorry.....I should have known that the "pattern change" was probably a falsely robust signal that has failed this year. Remember how many cold winters have a warm spell that gets truncated? This is the opposite. Futility record here we come. If you get snow/ice, enjoy. This is the worst winter of my life, thus far......even the guidance has sucked and has displayed horrific discontinuity pretty close in. Wake me next October. I think we need separate NNE and SNE threads for storms because it's just too much to take anymore Good for KC, glad to hear it. This winter fooking sucks, period. Any Met or professional that tries to pretend it's no big deal or doesn't mind it, is full of sh*t. Meh, I just want to see some snow, Im really down in the dumps and depressed about the fact I do not have a trace of snow since October. I love it more than anything besides my family and friends, its part of who I am as a person. I suppose we all have certain ways to deflect the suck that this winter has bestowed upon us. Life goes on, and life is good, but it would be a hell of a lot better with snow in it, I dont give a flying **** who gets what and or where, I just want a ten minute snow shower to be honest, that would be good enough. THe next 2 weeks AT least suck, hopefully Feb comes in better, but this is my passion and hobby and its totally absent from my life so far for the entire winter. October snow SUCKS DICK, and is completely worthless, I wish I had never got 1.5 inches of summer slush that melted in ten hours. This hurts, and it hurts bad, I am not asking ma nature for much, just to see a dusting would be just fine. Besides a couple upslope events this entire winter to date has sucked rabbit COC for the entire area, its pretty simple. I hope things change soon The landscape is dirty and barren, its filled with mans waste, it needs a renewal, a cleansing...........even those that hate snow are asking where winter is, and the fact its snowing so much in a place that its not supposed to snow gives me pause for concern.
