Here in Carlisle...

Temp just hit 35.6 degrees and wet flakes mixing in nicely with the rain. We just had multiple rumbles of thunder! Guess that verifies the instability and dynamics of this rapidly developing system. Temp dropping very nicely and should continue to do so as the snow conversion completes.

Also rather breezy out there at the moment.

---Stephen

Edit -->>Temp down 5.3 degrees in the past 60 minutes. Also, now down another 0.4 degrees in the past 7 minutes to 35.2.

Got a report of 5" on Blue Knob at 5:00pm, so they probably got 7" or 8". Got a report out of Cambria County of 4" at 5:30p. Forecast should verify fine on the ridges, but certainly not in the valleys.

My son lives in Waterville Pa. He was hunting up on the mountain there, not sure elevation...Around 3:00 pm,and he said in about an hour they got about 4" of snow. He mentioned it was snowing so hard he thought he was going to get lost. He returned to the valley and it was raining. Said he is going back tomorrow, be interested to hear how much snow is up there.

Just shaking my head thinking about if all this rain would have been snow.

Snowing here but a slushy accumulation. Just about a repeat of the Oct. storm.

sad.png Any of you in the HBG know any general contractors that can repair drywall/window boxes?

Oh and mix of snow and rain in Harrisburg.

You want to mix C4 and thermite. Will take care of all your window/drywall issues*

*Please don't do that. or if you do take a video and post it on youtube. You'd win the interwebs thumbsupsmileyanim.gif
