  1. Past hour
  2. Ridiculously high stats from today; Temp: 100.4F Dew: 80.8F Heat index: 118.5F
  3. I guess the recent rains have tamed the RDU sensor, high of “only” 98.1 today
  4. Beer, edibles and dude wipes are flying around everywhere today. Ya love to see it!
  5. Same issue for me; up to 79 with upstairs unit running. downstairs unit doing fine - lowering that temp to help it keep up.
  6. Worcester, PA. peaked at my house 100.4. Heat index of 115. Went to see the Big Boy train in Linfield, PA. Really cool to see, but unofficial temp was 104 at that location, Really really hot, humid, miserable conditions. Mass Casualty Incident declared in Berks County due to the crowds gathered for the train. Don't' know any details, but based on what I saw (and felt to some extent) where I was in Montgomery County - heat exhaustion, fainting, etc. had to be some of the calls. Train was running about 1 hr late which made matters worse. Waited to take pictures only to get the message "Phone is too hot for the camera to work". The heat kind of made a memorable event of the train more memorable.
  7. This is how it was on upper level of my split level with the short attic . Last fall I put 14” blown insulation in and new gables. Today I was able to maintain 75 upstairs with AC on for 20-25 minutes, off for 7/8 and back on 20-25. What were others settings and time frames today? Thanks
  8. Today's Highs EWR: 105 New Brnswck: 104 LGA: 104 ACY: 103 PHL: 103 BLM: 103 JFK: 102 TEB: 101 TTN: 101 NYC: 100 ISP: 96
  9. True and my lows are routinely higher than most....ridge vs valley microclimates in this area.
  10. Today's Highs EWR: 105 New Brnswck: 104 LGA: 104 ACY: 103 PHL: 103 BLM: 103 JFK: 102 TEB: 101 TTN: 101 NYC: 100 ISP: 96
  11. That your readings are routinely lower than anyone else’s on our region in summer. Microclimates are real.
  12. This is only about my station readings @Stebosaid my readings are 3 to 5 degrees too low...that is just fake news on his part as I have clearly shown. Not sure what convo you are talking about - assuming it is the chilling of the 1930's thru 1950's historical data correct? thanks!
  13. 104 on the Tempest in Hillsborough today. Real feel was around 120 at one point. Down to a cool 95 at 8pm. Brutal.
  14. No shortage of moisture today in any respect
  15. Thanks Mount Joy! I have used the exact same equipment and location for 23 years.
  16. Very comfortable on Raritan bay right now. Water temp is 73 and fireworks will be going off by Perth Amboy in 90 minutes
  17. Yesterday
  18. It's always a bit more moist here, wait wut, due to being along the river and near a small pond/swamp thus keeping me just a touch "cooler" on days like this.
  19. The techs were doing something with the AC in the office yesterday and the office temp plummeted to 62 degrees during the evening and overnight. We were taking turns going outside just to warm up.
