  1. Past hour
  2. We’re 3.8” but a few miles to the west is way over 4” .
  3. It did in May. And that's about the only time in the last 3 years.
  4. I can’t describe the feeling after that lol. I was like holy Foc . I’ve sat out that so many years in storms . Nothing like that ever happened. I’ll be out there next summer
  5. Been watchin it all day. Be nice to have an early start to the ski season. Temps have fallen to 27, the skies are lowering really dark, the wind is up and preconsolidation is starting on the roads and pavement. That stuff is starting to get heavy! Wind is gusting to 47! I am beginning to update to 2020s tracks but I gotta watch out for some of these videos, some of them are so divisive. I have had about enough of maga. sorry guys about that video, I took it right off. Had to delete the post to get rid of that EMBARRASSING vid. Billions of apologies. Just blast ELO and think of me jebwalking against the 40 mph NE winds and heavy wet snow in Mammoth, lol. And lovingly digging massive amounts of snow back when I still could, lmao. Roads in Mammoth are caving at 27 degrees and moderate to heavy snow! https://www.mammothmountain.com/on-the-mountain/mammoth-webcam/woolly-cam
  6. If it was, why was there not flight plan given? I’m not convinced.
  7. Color here is just stuck on not much. Most years I'm getting close to a peak by mid month and at times leaves are mostly gone by Halloween. This year, we had some reds in early September but very little progress since then.
  8. First snow in town today, unexpected. Flurries turned to decent little snow shower this morning, no Accumulation though. Raw, cold, windy day that didn’t break 40. Think it’s the first time I’ve been colder than you guys which shows just how amazing the weather has been for you guys this Fall temp wise!
  9. :40 I felt that strike and was inside basement not outside
  10. a few moderate rain showers, much-needed. Of course CNE NNE etc. other areas are a different story. Stein relief
  11. The 12z CFS run apparently gives us snow. Even though it doesn't really show it on the precip type maps, it does show it on the snow depth maps. October 13, 2025 officially marks the start of the 2025-26 Digital Snow Thread! Coastal on 11/08: Clipper on 11/10
  12. I am gonna go up there and run nekkid in the deepening snow. It's truly liberating.
  13. Just for reference - NAO was different. But globally its pretty similar. Blocking should show up at times, its just when? I'm assuming the super persistent warmth/high pressure by Japan means on balance the NAO is not predominantly favorable for Nor'easters in the dead of winter int he Northeast. But during the transitional periods (Nov/late Feb-late Mar) I am more optimistic for big systems by the NE than in recent years.
  14. This little taste of exciting weather just makes me want more. That little burst of heavier rain and gusty winds got me into mood for a strong storm. Hopefully we can get a few ripping Nor'easters this late fall and winter. I big white Nor'easter would of course be epic.
  15. Today
  16. Quite the spectacle, Tailgate all access on the 5th floor of the building next door to the stadium, Once inside, Had great seats too.
  17. 18z GEFS gone wild for a coastal early next week
  18. Yesterday
  19. Flew back into PWM tonight from NOLA and have to say that was a temp shock from 80's the last 5 days to 51°F, Great game though by the Pats.
